Has the likes of Deidre Henderson, Aimee Winder Newton, and Amelia Powers Gardner on his campaign finance committee. Along with someone from the Larry Miller Corporaton. The Millers want to shove big sports / entertainment districts down the throats of the resident taxpayers.
Apparently Judge Barry Lawrence has ruled against him in terms of dismissing interference charges.
At one point in his 2024 campaign, before convention, Derek's campaign tried moving the needle on his delegate unpopularity by throwing some spaghetti against the wall to see what would stick. Election reform was one strand of spaghetti.
